This story begins not with a baby's cry, but with a big, round surprise! In a town called Chentang Pass, a kind lady named Lady Yin was expecting a baby. But she waited, and waited... for three whole years! Finally, the day came, but instead of a baby, out popped a big, round ball of flesh!

Her husband, General Li Jing, was very surprised and a little scared. He thought it might be something bad, so he carefully drew his sword. But just as he was about to touch the ball, it split open with a POP! And there, sitting inside, was a bright-eyed little boy.

Soon after, a wise old immortal named Taiyi Zhenren floated down from the sky. He smiled and said, "This boy is special! His name will be Nezha." He gave Nezha two amazing gifts: a shiny red ribbon called the Red Armillary Sash, and a sparkly gold ring called the Universe Ring. "These are very powerful," he told Nezha.

Nezha grew up quickly. He was strong, full of energy, and loved to play. One super hot summer day, Nezha thought, "I need to cool down!" He ran to the nearby sea, which was the home of the Dragon King of the East Sea.

Nezha dipped his Red Armillary Sash into the water. SPLASH! SWISH! He shook the sash, and it made such big waves that the whole Dragon Palace under the sea started to shake and rumble!

Down in the Dragon Palace, a grumpy sea creature, a Yaksha guard, felt the shaking. "Who's making all this noise?" he grumbled, and swam up to see. When he saw Nezha playing, he shouted, "Hey, kid! Stop that! You're disturbing the Dragon King!"

Nezha, being a playful boy, didn't like being told off. They argued, and soon they were fighting! Nezha, with his Universe Ring, was much stronger. With a little bonk, the Yaksha was defeated.

Then, Ao Bing, the third son of the Dragon King, a shiny dragon prince, came up. He was very angry that his guard was hurt. "You little rascal!" he roared. "How dare you cause trouble in my father's sea!" Ao Bing attacked Nezha with his dragon powers. But Nezha was quick and clever. He used his Universe Ring and his Red Armillary Sash, and in the big fight, Ao Bing was also defeated and didn't move anymore. Nezha even took one of Ao Bing's dragon tendons to make a belt for his father!

Oh dear! When the Dragon King of the East Sea, Ao Guang, found out his son was gone, he was furious! He roared with sadness and anger, his voice like thunder. He flew to Chentang Pass and went straight to General Li Jing's house. "Li Jing!" boomed the Dragon King. "Your son, Nezha, has hurt my guard and my beloved son! You must give him to me, or I will flood your entire town!"

The people of Chentang Pass were terrified. General Li Jing was very worried. Nezha saw how scared everyone was. He knew he had caused a big problem. He stepped forward bravely. "This was my doing," he said. "I will take responsibility. Don't harm my parents or the townspeople." To show he was serious and to stop the Dragon King's anger, Nezha made a very brave and sad choice to give his own body back to his parents, so the Dragon King would leave everyone else alone.

But the story doesn't end there! The kind immortal, Taiyi Zhenren, saw everything. He felt sorry for brave Nezha. So, he gathered special lotus flowers, stems, and roots. With his magic, he built a brand new body for Nezha! This new Nezha was even stronger. He was given a Fire-tipped Spear and amazing Wind Fire Wheels for his feet, so he could zoom around like the wind and fly through the sky!

Nezha, now reborn and more powerful, knew he had to face the Dragon King again, but this time to make things right and protect his home. He flew on his Wind Fire Wheels to the Dragon Palace. The Dragon King was still angry, but Nezha, with his new lotus body and powerful weapons, was ready.

They had a big magical showdown! Nezha, with his spear and wheels, was incredibly fast and strong. He fought bravely, not to be mean, but to show the Dragon King he couldn't just bully everyone. In the end, Nezha managed to subdue the Dragon King. The Dragon King realized Nezha was too powerful and promised not to flood Chentang Pass or cause trouble for its people anymore.

And so, Nezha, the boy born from a lotus, became a hero, protecting his family and his town with his courage and his amazing magical treasures.
